Dan Rose, Leasing / Strategic Planning

Dan has over 20 years experience in the shopping center industry representing leading retailers throughout the United States with all aspects of their real estate needs.  He has extensive knowledge in all areas of retail real estate, including strategic planning, market research and analysis, leasing, disposition, lease negotiations, and lease administration.  For the past 5 years, he has run his own consulting and advisory business as Principal of Rose Retail Strategy Services, LLC, and served as an affiliate of Pointwise Real Estate Group, LLC.  Prior to that, Dan spent over 14 years with Limited Brands, Inc. in a variety of capacities, the most recent of which was Vice President of National Real Estate Management.  In this role, he acted as a key member of the senior real estate management team in creating and implementing the overall national real estate strategy, tactical plans and other systems and processes to maximize the performance and effectiveness of Limited Brands' real estate team.  His prior roles at Limited encompassed responsibility for all real estate functions for their various retail entities, including Bath & Body Works, Express, Lane Bryant, Lerner New York, Structure, The Limited, Victoria’s Secret, Victoria’s Secret Beauty and White Barn Candle Company (and formerly including Abercrombie & Fitch, Cacique, Henri Bendel and Limited Too).

Dan has excellent relationships across the entire development community and with his retail counterparts.  He is also a licensed attorney in the State of Ohio.



Steve Dodds, Leasing / Strategic Planning

For over 25 years, Steve has proven his expertise and professionalism in the real estate and shopping center industries.  He has represented leading retailers throughout the United States, Puerto Rico and Guam.  Steve's comprehensive real estate experience includes strategic planning, market research and analysis, budgeting, leasing, disposition, store planning and construction, lease negotiations, facilities management and lease administration.  He has extensive knowledge of all retail venues, including malls, lifestyle and strip centers, outlet centers, and street front retail in both urban and suburban settings.  Steve has excellent relationships with both mall and non-mall center developers, as well as his retail counterparts.  Prior to commencing his own business, Pointwise Real Estate Group, LLC, in 2004, Steve served as Vice President, Real Estate with KB Toys where he established leasing, lease administration, construction and market research departments and oversaw all aspects of real estate for 1,400 plus stores.  Before that, he spent 11 years with The Bombay Company where he was Vice President, Real Estate responsible for leasing, construction, market research, and lease administration.  He played a key role in the company's high growth period in the early '90's and helped to develop and implement its long term strategic plan.  Steve has also held key management positions with The Gap and Zale Corporation.



Kent Saunders, Market Research

Kent offers extensive experience in location strategy and research analysis for national retailers, real estate brokerage houses and retail consulting firms.

As head of Market Research for both The Bombay Company and KB Toys, he developed market studies and site selection strategies that were utilized throughout their organizations. Kent's creation of proprietary desktop tools for tracking the performance of existing stores, established return requirements, competitor locations, market penetration and trade areas have been extremely valuable to his clients' real estate, marketing and merchandise allocation efforts.
